SMaC Approach

Through our extensive experience of working with children, we learned the importance of school, mother and community in protecting the rights of the children. Children can not exercise their absolute rights without the outright support of these three. Our SMaC approach combines schools, mothers and communities to achieve a collective goal of protecting the absolute rights of their children.

We build self-help groups of mothers and build their capacity through skill development training and awareness sessions. Our integrated model connects these associations with Anganwadi, ASHA, and ANM workers and brings all of these representatives on a common stage to launch joint efforts against children’s issues like health, nutrition, and pre and postnatal care.

Community Outreach Awareness and Training (COAT)

We build inclusive, equal, resilient communities that solve critical issues and protect children’s rights. We carefully map the needs of a community and design a customized plan of action with clear goals. Our capacity-building activities focus on child rights issues and active involvement of community members in solving them. 

Our Impact


XXX can now complete her secondary education because the Principal of Dena primary school managed to get permission and fund from the government to build a second wing in the school with the support of the Pratibha Foundation.


XXX could send her second child to the school because of her small tailoring business that she started after completing a sewing course organised by Pratibha Foundation.


Dena village residence appealed to Sarpach to transform the old community centre into a recreation activity centre for the young adults of the village with the support of the Pratibha Foundation.
